2 A Newbury, Hallcroft, 41-9-0; peg island 39 Andy Newbury, drawn on the point of the island, fished corn on the bomb but switched to the pole to take 9 carp for 41-9-0

3 S Clarke, Mansfield Sensas, 40-0-0; peg outer 49 Stuart Clarke was third from outer 49 with 40-0-0.

Daz Oldham won this Reed match with an impressive 114-12-0. Fishing peg 31 Daz alternated bomb and corn to the island with pole and pellet for carp to 9lb.

Phil fished pole at 14½m with corn, meat and pellet for  15 carp to 6lb.

3 S Grieg, Doncaster, 30-1-0; peg 39

Steve Grieg caught carp to 8lb.

1 S Robbins, Leegem, 44-10-0; peg 27

Steve Robbins just edged out Daz Oldham with a winning weight of 44-10-0.Steve fished pole and pellet from peg 27 for carp to 4lb

2 D Oldham, Hallcroft, 41-15-0; peg 5

Daz Oldham took carp up to 1¾ lb to maggot and pellet on the pole.

3 R Beckett, Moorthorpe, 28-1-0; peg 24

Ron fished pole with maggot and pellet.

This was another close affair on Moat with Steve Robbins  just pipping Geoff Bennett to first spot. Fishing bomb, meat and corn from peg 49 to the far bank  Steve caught 13 carp to 6lb for 64-6-0

2 G Bennett, Peg One BCUK, 62-10-0; peg 58 Geoff Bennett alternated pole and pellet with bomb and corn for 12 carp leaving him just short with 62-10-0.

3 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 49-2-0; peg 55

Jamie Masson used similar tactics to Steve for 49-2-0.

1 K Walters, Retford, 44-0-0; peg island 53 Keith Walters won his first veteran’s match of the year with 44-0-0. Using pole and pellet at 8m Keith had 3 carp and 25lb of skimmer bream for 44-0-0.

2 D Clegg, Britannia, 29-10-0; peg island 41 and

   C Goulder, Peg One, 29-10-0; peg island 62 There was a tie for second place between Dick Clegg and Colin Goulder. Both anglers had a mixed net of skimmers and carp fishing pellet, maggot and caster.
