Drawn on end peg 5 on Bridge Island Steve made no mistake with another ton plus weight. Fishing meat at 13m up in the water Steve caught carp to 10lb and got through over 4 pints of meat.
2nd P Wright (Fishing Republic) Peg Outer 48 97-12-0
Paul Wright also fished shallow pole but with pellet at 13m and caught 19 carp up to 9lb
3rd R Teigh (Handsworth) Peg Outer 17 75-12-0
Rich used similar tactics to the winner for his net of carp and skimmers

Although the weights were lower than of late this was still a tight finish with 1 fish separating the top3.Colin Perry opted for short pole with worms and maggots for all silverfish net, including skimmers to 3lb
2nd J Simms (Map Leegem) Peg Island 33 45-8-0
Joe fished pellet and corn on short pole for a mixture of 4 carp and skimmer/bream. Joe fed micros and 4mm feed pellets
3rd N Dearing(Hallcroft) Peg Island 37 44-14-0
Nigel also fished pellet and corn for his mixed bag of carp and silvers.

Steve Barraclough came within 1 fish of breaking his own venue record with 249lb. Feeding and fishing meat up in the water at 12m Steve caught 48 carp to 10lb mainly at 2ft deep.
2nd L Sears (Daiwa) Island 46 121-4-0
Luke fished groundbait feeder with micro pellets and corn for 60lb of skimmers and later switched to corn over groundbait and pellet in the margin for 9 carp to 8lb
3rd D Oldham (Maltby) Outer 48 118-9-0
Daz also fished up in the water with meat and pellet for carp to 12lb

1 B Sullivan, Maltby, 97-9-0; peg Canal 19 S Yorks
Canal Pool was the place to be today as it saw the top three weights, with Brian Sullivan coming out the winner. Brian fished expander pellet and paste on the pole to the far bank over kinder potted 4mm feed pellets.
2 L Poulsford, Anglers Corner, 93-13-0; peg Canal 2 E Yorks
Second place went to Len Poulsford who caught small carp on the pole using pellets and meat at 12m.
3 A Oldham, Maver, 89-13-0; peg Canal 14 S Yorks
Andy Oldham was just behind in third place with a similar net of fish taken on the drop using cubed luncheon meat.

Nick Speed was today’s winner with a decent ton-plus net of carp up to 10lbs caught from Island peg 2 using cubed luncheon meat fished shallow on the pole at 13m.
2 L Wright, MAP Leegem, 134-10-0; peg Outer 11 Derbys
Lee Wright took second spot with his best weight at Hallcroft this year so far. Lee caught mainly carp on the long pole using luncheon meat and pellet fished shallow.
3 A Oldham, Maver, 92-0-0; peg Outer 18 S Yorks
Andy Oldham netted carp too 8lbs plus fishing shallow on the pole at 12m and finished third place overall.
