Andy Oldham battled against the wind to fish at 12m shallow on the pole using cubed luncheon meat to catch nearly all carp in his winning ton plus net.

Paul Schoof edged the close second place fishing paste on the pole at 8m where he caught carp and bream.

Andy Sellars fished a pellet cone with meat and corn to the middle of croft to net carp up to 6lbs plus in his winning net today.

Martin Firth fished expander pellet on the pole at 10m and netted carp and skimmers to take second place overall
3 S Clark, Mansfield, Peg Bridge Out 50 and J Hobson, Sheffield, Peg Bridge Isl 9; 61-0-0
These two angler tied for third place both with mainly carp caught on the pole. Steve used meat and chopped worms, but Jack caught using catmeat.

Colin Perry netted carp and skimmers using corn and pellet on a feeder early on plus caught using pole and pellet towards the end of the match and edged victory in a close match.
2 R Holmes, Notts AA, Peg Out 90; 50-10-0
Roger Holmes took the close second place fishing meat on the pole at 8m over ground bait and micros.

Pete Bagshaw finished third with mainly carp caught on a ground bait feeder with double corn

Stuart Gray was the winner on this Friday match for the second week in a row. Stuart fished paste on the pole at 11m where he netted carp too 10lbs plus in his winning net.

Pete Miles’ good form continued today as he narrowly missed victory in this close match. Pete caught mainly from the margins using chopped worms and ground bait.
3 N Hirst, Doncaster, Island 45; 111-1-0
Neil Hirst fished meat and corn over pellets down the margins for his first ton plus net of the year at Hallcroft and a third place finish.

Scott just nicked first place with 70lb 4oz. Scott fished pellet waggler to the middle feeding sparingly for a dozen carp with a couple touching double figures.

Andy also used waggler to good effect, but fished punched meat hair rigged for his carp haul.

With bright flat conditions carp preferred to be cruising around than feeding. However Paul Elliott fished waggler shallow with meat and pellet casting around for 12 carp to 8lb

Brian was next to the winner and used identical tactics for 11 carp to 9lb
