With ice capping the lakes overnight, the anglers were pegged aroundthe aerators which had cleared some open water. Jack Hobson opted tofish corn on the bomb to the middle where he picked up carp throughoutthe match to win on this cold day.
2nd B Rance, Retford Honda, 38-12-0; B Isl 14
Second place fell to Barry Rance who fished his favourite bait casteron the pole at 6m to catch a nice net of all Silverfish for 38-12-0.
3rd P Tatley, MAP Leegem, 27-8-0; B Out 42
Pete Tatley fished expander pellet on the pole at 11m to catch carpand bream for third place today.
4th S Twigg, MAP Leegem, 21-0-0; 5th R Turner, Retford, 16-10-0.

Croft Pool 7 pegs
1st A Lakey, Gateford AS, 38-6-0; peg 6
Andy Lakey fished a long pole line with 4mm expander pellet over a bedof micros to win with a nice mixed net of carp, skimmers and tench.
2nd J Masson, Maver Marukyu, 34-4-0; peg 22
Jamie Masson was a close second also with a mixed net of fish, butJamie caught on short pole with corn and groundbait.
3rd A Favill, Tuxford, 27-10-0; peg 3
Andy Favill fished caster and groundbait at 12m to catch a net ofskimmers and tench for third place.

Steve Clark fished a pellet feeder alternating between hair rigged corn and punched meat as hook baits to catch all carp in his winning net today. Steve Clark picked up the added bonus of a £300 golden peg, the first he has won, despite lots of match wins, for over 7 years at Hallcroft.
2. P McIntyre, Baittech, 26-14-0; peg outer 31
Paul McIntyre took second place today with an all silverfish net of mainly skimmers caught using 4mm expander pellet over a bed of micro feed pellets.
3. A Oldham, Halkon Hunt, 19-10-0-; peg outer 14
Andy Oldham finished third overall with a nice net of silverfish taken on maggot at 12m on the pole over ground bait.

1st M Hazlewood, MAP Leegem, 81-6-0; peg Out 9
Round 2 turned out to be no warmer conditions than last week with snow making an appearance during the match. The overall weights were slightly better than last week though, with Mark Hazlewood edging the win by the odd carp with 81-6-0. Mark caught using hair rigged luncheon meat on a small bomb to the middle of the lake.
2nd P Elliott, MAP Leegem, 76-12-0; peg Isl 2
Paul Elliott took the close second spot with a net of carp up to 9lbs+ fishing 6mm expander pellet over 4mm feed pellets and ground bait at 12m on the pole.
3rd R Fox, MAP Leegem, 74-2-0; peg Out 12
Richard Fox fished similar tactics to the winner and sat on the tip for most of the match using hair rigged corn to net enough carp for third place.

1st M Brownell, Mosborough, 68-9-0; peg 5
Mick Brownell was today’s open match winner with a superb mixed net of fish including carp, tench, bream and roach. Mick caught on the pole at 11m using micro pellets and ground bait.
2nd D Oldham, Hallcroft, 60-0-0; peg 2
Daz Oldham finished second with another nice mixed net of fish. Daz fished expander pellet at 12m over kinder potted micro feed pellets.
3rd J Thomas, Subfish, 47-4-0; peg 8
Jason Thomas edged the close third place with a brilliant net of all silverfish, caught using small expander pellets at 12m on the pole.
4th A Oldham, Halkon Hunt, 46-2-0.
