Steve Robbins fell agonisingly short of his first ton of the year. Steve fished pole with pellet and corn on short pole for carp to 10lb and skimmers to 2lb

Brod Perkins won this latest well attended vets open from bridge oluter 15. Brod fished feeder with pellet and corn and later switched to waggler shallow for carp into double figures.

Pete Tatley came second from croft pool. Pete started on paste over pellet for carp to 6lb and switched to pole and pellet for skimmers and tench to boost his weight.

With the extra cold water still in moat pool the big weights expected didn’t materialise. Alan Crouch came out clear winner with 78lb. Alan fished meat on short pole and later switched to the margins feeding groundbait for carp to 9lb

Dave continued his good friday form with nearly 70lb. Dave fished worm over maggots and groundbait for a mixed net of carp and skimmers
