Carp legend has banked the famous Burghfield common carp at a whacking 55lb 5oz.
Dave was fishing a swim he’d been permission to create by the bailiff, casting to a spot near a buoy.
Anglers are allows to use boats to land fish at the Hampshire venue’s Main Lake and it’s said to have towed him around for 20 minutes before he was able to land it.
It’s believed to be its first capture since Oz Holness landed the big fish over three years ago, and possibly only its tenth ever capture.
Many believe this to be the biggest common carp currently in the UK.
