Report:
The second Tuesday evening open match at Dynamite Baits Makins, fished on Lake 4, failed to fish to expectations in a cold East wind.
Winner Jamie Adcock (LEVAS) fished pellet waggler from peg 9 to catch odd carp throughout for his 50 lb 2 oz winning weight.
Next Tuesday evening match at Dynamite Baits Makins will be on 9 June. It will be fished on Thames and Avon on Phase 3, draw 4.45 to 5pm (on Phase 3 car park), fishing from 6pm.

Report:
On a hot day following a cold night, Phase 3 at Dynamite Baits Makins fished harder than expected in the first half of the match for the Thursday Kobra Open, although a better second half saw decent catches taken.
Top weight fell to Preston Innovations backed ace Adam Waklyn with 56 lb 12 oz from Thames peg 7. Fishing pellet shallow on long pole, Adam caught carp from 1 to 4 lb steadily throughout, leaving second placed Simon Cordingly (Milton Keynes MG), who fished similar tactics, well behind on 45 lb from Thames 18.
Dave Walker (Border Fisheries) took third with 40 lb 12 oz from Inner Avon 2, his catch consisting of carp, roach, and bream, all taken on pellet fished up in the water.
The next Thursday Kobra Open will be on 18 June on Phase 2, Crater & Reptile. Draw 10am Phase 2 car park.
