The Angling Trust are pleased to announce the Masters World Coarse Championship team for 2019 representing England in the 2nd FIPSed World Masters Championship in the World Angling Games on the Vaal River, South Africa from 14th – 15th February.

The team selected are;
Mark Downes
Harry Billing
Matt Hall
Mark Harper
Mick Wilkinson
Joe Roberts (England Manager)
Dicki Carr (Assistant Manager)

Joe Roberts, England Manager stated “This will be our second year taking part in the World Masters Championship which we are all looking forward to. The Vaal River will be new to most of the squad, with only Mick Wilkinson who has fished this particular venue, so it will be important to do a lot of planning ahead with the team fishing for barbel, carp, mud fish and white fish”.

“This year saw the England Masters team returning with the silver medal from Croatia, so I’m very confident in this top world ranking team selected and have high hopes again of a podium finish”.
