English angler Steve Townson – also known as ‘The Fish Finder’ – has just returned from a trip to Argentina in search of the legendary freshwater golden dorado.

Steve fished a resort known as La Zona – a protected destination on the Uruguay River famed for offering the very best fishing for golden dorado on the planet.

He said: “These magnificent looking predators – also known as the River Tiger – are spectaular, brutal fighters that grow to over 50lb and can be targeted on lures or flies.”

Steve, who stars in TV series ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ from OnlineFishing.tv, took the 40lb fish pictured on a shallow diving Rapala Magnum.
