South American angling holiday specialist Amazon-Angler.com has has four spaces open for its yearly return trip to the Amazon Roosevelt Lodge, deep in the Amazon Jungle in Brazil.
The lodge is situated at the confluence of the Rio Roosevelt (named after President Teddy Roosevelt – see the book ‘River of Doubt’) and the Rio Aripuanã and we fish both rivers.
Easy to get to with a short flight from the city of Manaus, there is great fishing with many species to target including Peacock Bass, huge Payara, Bicuda, Arowana, Pirapatinga (giant Pacu), many hard-fighting ‘scaled’ fish like Matrinxã and Jatuarana, and plenty of big Cats.
This is an extremely comfortable lodge with a huge lounge and dining room, all rooms with A/C, good company and incredible food and drinks. Perfect for small groups, families, couples, or even solo anglers.
Dates will be 11-17 June 2017 with 5 days fishing (arriving in Manaus 10 June latest).
If you would like to join host Steve Townson and the other guests for some in incredible fishing, please email steve@amazon-angler.com
