Hardy & Greys Ltd have teamed up with Fishing TV for a series of television commercials highlighting their new ranges for 2012.
The commercials run before programmes in Fishing TV’s video magazines – which are available free to view online, on smart phones, on tablets like i-pads and on selected Smart TVs. The video magazines have been growing rapidly and are generating over 300,000 video views every month.
Hardy & Greys Ltd are promoting their new Chub T3 and T5 Neuron alarms, Super Cyfish bivvy/Dome and Greys Prodigy GT3 and GT5 rods through the spring and summer in ‘Carp Channel Monthly’ (www.carpchannelmonthly.com .
If you watch ‘Game Fisher’s Diary’ (www.gamefishersdiary.com) you are likely to see commercials for the Greys XF2 and GRXi rod ranges and for their waders and boots, plus the Hardy Demon range and the Hardy Ultralite reels and groundbreaking Sintrix rods.
On ‘Coarse And Match Fishing Monthly’ (http://www.coarseandmatchfishing.com ) the Alnwick based firm is promoting its innovative new Greys Klip-Lok Tackle Base system, plus the Greys Prodigy luggage.
Coarse, Carp & Predator Marketing Manager Andy Charlton said:: “We love the concept of using video in commercials to help launch our new ranges and the fact that the video magazines are available to view free of charge on so many of the top angling websites plus on smart phones, tablets and smart TVs is a very attractive package.
“Fishing TV took time to understand the different brand complexities and then produced quality commercials to complement each one; and one of the many things we do love about them is that the videos click through to the relevant pages on our own websites, and especially that the number of views are guaranteed.”
Fishing TV launched its four free-to-view video magazines in July 2011 and since then they have grown rapidly every month as more and more websites have taken on their syndicated players. Each issue contains about three hours of video and they have become noted for their high quality production values.
Said head of channel Gareth Purnell: “Fishing TV offers the chance for the angling industry to take advantage of the undoubted power of TV commercials at a price that makes sense. We are truly multi platform and the move onto Smart TV with Samsung and Panasonic takes our programmes and our advertisers’ commercials and videos right into people’s lounges – worldwide.”
