Midlands river ace Dave Harrell will be among the speakers at a special conference about the future and management of river coarse fish stocks organised by The Angling Trust and being held at Barston Lakes, Solihill, this Saturday.

Dave said: “As a passionate river angler of many years standing myself I would urge anyone who has connections with river fishing, be it as a water owner, an association or as an angler to come along and support initiatives like this one. Any help, guidance or support that we can get can only benefit the long term future of river fishing.” Doors open at 9am and close at 3pm.
