A massive pike washed up dead on the banks of a Midlands trout reservoir has been set up and is now available for all to see.

Vernon Leadbetter has had the 40lb 8oz fish set up by taxidermist Barry Williams and it can now be viewed by all at his Cannock tackle shop.
The mighty fish measures 48 inches long and has a 28-inch girth and will give anglers the chance to see just how big a 40lb pike really is.
Vernon told Angling Times: “I’d never kill a pike to have it stuffed, it was just luck that my friend found it. Now people can see it for themselves.”
