Richworth’s Simon Dew has gone and done it again….. he’s smashed his PB by landing the Isle of Wight’s largest resident at 52lb 6oz as a guest on a local syndicate water.

The monster mirror carp was caught last night using S-Core pop ups over mixed sized freebies on his favourite Withy Pool rig. This capture came as part of a 3 fish haul including Mirror Carps of 26lb8 oz and 33lb 10oz.

Simon has been on lethal form consistently over the last few years, but this is without doubt a highlight. Simon said this morning “I can’t believe I beat my French PB in the UK! It’s a dream come true and I actually had tears of happiness this morning”
