The second running of the Ivan Marks Memorial Match will take place at Mallory Park Fisheries on Saturday May 20th and Sunday May 21st 2006 – that’s the weekend before the Total-FishingClub.com ACA Festival.
Tickets are still available for anglers wishing to fish this prestigious event held in the memory of the legend himself, Ivan Marks. The Glebe fishery, plus the Foundation Lake (the latter being adjacent to the Mallory Park race circuit), will be the two venues holding both of these 120 peg matches, and is where Ivan spent many days fishing in competitions … and winning.
Entrants need to stipulate which day they wish to fish as places are limited and the angler recording the biggest weight on either day will receive the Ivan Marks Memorial Trophy which will be presented by Linda Marks and her son Chris Marks.
Entry is £20, all of which goes into the Ivan Marks Memorial Fund, and there will be optional pools on both days for anglers wishing to fill their keepnets and boost their bank accounts!

Draw is at The Glebe, Peckleton, from 8.30am to 9.30am on each day and fishing will be from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
Catering, including breakfast, will be available all day and guests are more than welcome to visit the wonderful Glebe complex, watch some top anglers in combat, see the fantastic wildlife, flora and fauna, and have a go at winning a special prize in the raffle!

Sunday May 14th is a date to make for The Glebe Charity Event, and with only 85 places available, anglers need to book in quickly or risk missing out on what will be a fantastic day’s fishing.
An open event, with tickets priced at £30 per head, Glebe owner, Roy Marlow, has secured a sponsor that will ensure £1,600 in prizes enhances the £15 cash pools money included in the ticket. No peg fees will be deducted from any entry ticket.

If you want to take part in the two day Glebe ACA Festival, this takes place on the last Friday and Saturday of May.
It’s a 90 pegger with a pairs event mixed in with the individual and the trophy currently held by Hillbilly up for grabs for the top individual.
