Reigning Wychavon Champion, Jon Arthur stamped his authority on proceedings in the second bloodworm and joker festival qualifier of the year, winning with a fantastic 11-9-0 from peg 7. Jon opted to fish bloodworm and joker on the pole at 13m, taking roach to 1lb. He also took a few fish from the same line on hempseed, fished over the top of his joker.

Second on the day was Dave Allsop from peg 74. Dave caught a good tench, plus several eels on chopped worm, fished down the edge to his right. Shakespeare Superteam’s Nigel Bull took third spot from peg 11. Like the winner, Nigel caught stamp roach on bloodworm and joker tactics.
