The River Weaver always seems to fish well for bream when there’s colour in the water and this match was no exception!

Making full use of a favoured end peg draw, Welsh International Lee Edwards made no mistakes and ran out victor at his first attempt this year.

His weight of 37lb 3oz mostly bream plus one tench, all caught on the pole put him 7lb clear of the field and also won A Zone.

B Zone winner was Glenn Lawrence with another bream catch of 28lb 13oz all taken on feeder and worm.

The final golden ticket went to David Thornley who won C Zone with 24lb 12oz of bream.
