Anglers were greeted with some strong winds and also the first sign of carp starting to spawn for this Fish ‘O’ Mania qualifier at Midlands fishery Woodland View, Droitwich.
On Barley peg 18, London builder Krzysztof Frackowiak of London got off to a slowish start but built most of his winning 90-8-0 weight during a hectic two hour period in the middle of the match, taking carp to 8lb on the feeder with micro pellets in the feeder and a 6mm pellet on the hook.
Second was Dan Squire of Somerton fishing (Frenzee). Dan was on Ghost Pool where he fished short with the pellet to take 82-8-0 of carp. Marc Rodger of Grimsby fishing for Mosella/Bag em Baits drew Deans, again 6mm pellet short for 81-4-0
