Nine of the 24 qualification dates for the 2012 Maver Mega Match This series are set to take place in the Midlands.

This year’s event saw Preston Innovations backed Andy Power walk away with a massive £50,000 and organizer Phil Briscoe is hopeful that this time around there might be a £100,000 prize. The Midlands qualifiers are Woodlands View, April 7th and June 16th; Preston Innovation Boldings, April 14th; Barston Lakes, April 22nd; Maver Larford Lakes, June 2nd and 30th and August 12th; Makins Fishery, July 21st; Tunnel Barn Farm, July 28th. One angler from each of the qualifiers goes through to a winner-takes-all final at Larford Lakes. Tickets to enter the qualifiers will go on sale from January 1, 2012 and will be available through http://www.mavermatchthis.co.uk/.
