Tight Frame At Meadowlands
Mark Jennings ran away with Monday’s open match at Meadowlands Fishery, but it was very tight for the minor placings. Mark drew peg 16 where he weighed in 113-2-0 – the only ton up bag.
However, just a pound and a half covered the next three places, Browning Central’s Paul Garner getting the nod for second spot with 69-8-0 from peg 47. Eagle Works rod Colin Thompson (peg45) finished third with 68-12-0 with Meadowlands anglers Ian Maltby fourth with a level 68lb from peg 18. The next match at the Ryton-upon-Dunsmore fishery is on Monday July 6th.
