The Severn was desperately low and gin clear for twelfth round of the 2018 RiverFest and it was always going to be tough for most of the competitors.
When Andy Napthine drew peg 75 on the Winterdyne section, most of the 58 competitors felt certain that he would win the zone. The pressure was on, but Andy kept his cool to win the match with 31-11-0, a catch of 14 barbel caught on a pellet feeder.
A zone winner, at fancied peg 11 was Tim Noke who fished in similar fashion to the winner for 27-13-0 of barbel.
B zone was won by Kevin Jones who surprised many by winning from peg 59 with 18-0-0 of barbel.
