River expert Dave Harrell is now taking summer and autumn bookings for his popular coaching days and courses. 

In addition to the excellent venues that were used last year, Dave now also has the use of a private new stretch at Ross On Wye, which holds a huge head of barbel, chub and dace.

The former England International, who has a wealth of experience on a wide variety of rivers in the UK and Europe, said: “Since I started the coaching days last year, they have attracted anglers of all ages and abilities and it has been a real pleasure to be able to pass on the knowledge that I have gained.

“Everyone is different in terms of what they want to do. Some people just want to catch their first ever barbel while others want to improve techniques. Whatever the requirement is, the days or series of days can be tailored to suit.

“The new venue at Ross is fabulous and there are some fantastic swims. As an added bonus, there are no long walks and you can park behind your peg on most of the stretch.”In addition to first class coaching, which includes the use of Dave’s kit if required, accommodation packages can also arranged for people wanting a few days away.
