REPORT
MOLANDS The fishing has been good this week with 100lb+ match catches and some good sized carp showing with fish to 19lb been caught in matches. The best tactics for carp has been bomb with pellet, popped up boilies or punched bread fished tight across to the island. Good nets of F1s are being caught on natural baits with maggot, caster and worm accounting for fish to 6lb. Pole and pellet fishing shallow is also worth a try. Best pegs have been 2, 4, 12, 17 – 25,
29 – 31, 43 – 48 and 56 – 60.
GEARYS Still patchy but there have been some good nets of carp caught this week with match weights over 120lb and featuring fish into high double figures. Bomb and pellet or pellet feeder have been the best tactic for carp and roach being caught on the pole with caster, worm, expander pellet and corn all catching. Best pegs have been 9 – 13, 18 – 21. 24, 29 and 31 – 33.
LITTLE GEARYS Fished hard this week with nets of F1s to 50lb best as the water has gone clearer. A small waggler to the island or long pole tactics have been best but as the weather cools expect the maggot feeder start to dominate. Best pegs are 1 – 8 and 24 – 30.
GRATUITIES Sport is getting a little tougher on Grats as the weather cools. Pole with corn or pellet was the best tactic last week catching carp to 8lb, crucians and skimmers. Pellet feeder to the island is also worth a try.
WILLOW The side nearest the carp park on pegs 1 – 5 has been the best with plenty of carp, F1s and skimmers being caught. Waggler or pellet feeder to the island and down the margins with corn or pellet have been the best tactics.
SIBLINGS A Long pole to the island is catching the carp fishing pellet or maggot over micros. Plenty of ide, F1s and skimmers are being caught down the middle of the pool with maggot the top bait.
SIBLINGS B F1s have been providing the bulk of the action on Siblings B with fish coming to expander pellet, maggot or caster. The carp have been showing best to meat.
ANNIVERSARIES Weights are well down but decent sport has been had all around the pool with F1s, small carp and the odd bigger bream or tench coming to maggot or pellet fished on the pole.

THE WINTER LEAGUE BEGINS ON OCTOBER 23rd TO BE FISHED OVER 10 ROUNDS EVERY FORTNIGHT. THE MATCHES WILL BE FISHED ON MOLANDS, GEARYS, LITTLE GEARYS AND SIBLINGS B. ENTRY FEE IS £40 WHICH INCLUDES PAYMENT FOR THE FINAL MATCH AND EACH MATCH IS £20. CONTACT THE FISHERY FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
