MOLANDS Fishing well in parts with pegs 25 round to 54 providing the best sport with nets to 170lb + coming out. Method feeder with dead reds, meat or wafter fished across to the island, pole fished worm and caster long on the deck or shallow and pole with dead maggots fished over ground bait have been the most effective tactics. Carp to over 25lb were caught this week with boilies fished down the margins or across to the island and off the top on surface baits.

GEARYS The hot weather saw the carp all over the surface and pleasure anglers had great fun catching them off the top with anglers reporting catching up to 30 fish with lots of them doubles and up to 22lb. In the matches nets to 120lb were caught with slapping pellet ,bomb and pellet or down the margins with pellet, dead reds or corn all working well.

LITTLE GEARYS Match nets to 149lb this week with the pegs at the top end of the pool from 1- 13 best. Pole with pellet or caster fished shallow on the jigga has still been the top tactic fished out at 11-14m or down the edges but method feeder or pellet feeder to the island, water waggler with 6mm pellet and down the edges with dead maggot ,pellet or paste are also worth a go.

ANNIVERSARIES Nets to around 90lb were caught this week with f1s and small carp showing on most pegs. Bomb or waggler in the open water fishing banded 6mm pellet on the hook accounted for the better nets but pole fished caster or pellet fished shallow also working well.

SIBLINGS A The hot weather affected the sport with lots of carp showing on the top all around the pool but not easy to catch except on mugging tactics and fish to 15lb came to this. Caster or pellet shallow was also catching f1s and late in the day worm or paste down the edges would be good.

SIBLINGS B Nets to 80lb were made by fishing caster or pellet shallow and down the margins with worm , paste or corn fished over micros. The pegs at the end of the point from 5-10 have been the best area this week.

GRATUITIES Carp from 3-8lb with the odd double are still making up the better catches and feeder or waggler to the island has accounted for nets to 60lb. Pole fished maggot, caster or expander fished over micros or ground bait has caught mixed nets of silvers and small f1s to 40lb.

WILLOW Fished a little harder with the high pressure but most days saw plenty of carp and f1s being caught in nets to 70lb +. Fishing tight up to the island with waggler or a small method feeder was the best approach but later in the day the margins have been good on paste ,corn or worm fished over micro pellet.
