FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS Fished a lot harder this week with nets to around 80lb best in matches made up mainly of carp with the f1s switching off again. Bomb or waggler with 8mm pellet fished tight to the island or short on the pole with maggot, meat or pellet have been the best tactics in matches. There were some good sized carp being caught with one angler catching 3 over 20lb from peg 54 and white boilies have accounted for plenty of decent catches this week.

GEARYS Its fished well on Gearys this week with nets to 160lb in matches and pleasure anglers have caught well too with a few fish over 20lbs reported. In the matches pole with 6mm pellet on the deck , slapping pellet and bomb with 8mm pellet have all worked well. Pleasure anglers have caught best on boilies fished over a PVA bag out to the middle stumps.

LITTLE GEARYS It has fished a lot better Little Gearys this week with nets to over 130lb best. The F1s have been making up the bigger catches and they are coming to method feeder or waggler to the island and short on the pole with maggot or meat. Bigger carp to double figures were caught down the margins on corn or worm over groudbait.

GRATUITIES Still good for silver fish this week with nets to around 30lb of skimmers, roach, crucians and some quality perch which have come to maggot or caster fisher over ground bait. Carp to double figures are coming to bomb/waggler with bread or pellet fished tight to the island or down the margins on corn.

WILLOW Very up and down this week with the F1s not showing as well as they had been and nets to 40lb were best. Carp to double figures were coming to waggler or feeder to the island or big pellet. Maggot or pellet on the pole was best for the F1s that were caught. Best pegs have been on the far side from 7 – 12.

ANNIVERSARIES Its been good this this week with most pegs producing F1s from 1 – 4lb in catches to over 80lb and the odd carp, ide and silver fish. Bomb or waggler with 6mm pellet on the wider open pegs and pole fished pellet, caster or maggot have all been working.

SIBLINGS A Fished really tough again this week with the water going clearer. Carp to double figures are being caught by dobbing bread or corn across to the island or down the margins. The F1s are being caught on pole with pellet down the middle but nets to around 30lb are best.

SIBLINGS B F1s are producing the main action but it has been a lot tougher with nets to 50lb best. Caster, maggot or pellet fished short at five metres or down the edges has been the best approach. A few bigger carp are coming to dobbing tactics with bread fished across to the far bank.
