MOLANDS Carp are still making up the better catches in matches with fish to 20lb coming to method feeder ,waggler or bomb with pellet fished really tight to the island and later in the day down the margins withdead maggot, worm or corn. Carp anglers have caught well especially through the night with lots of doubles and the largest common for a long time was caught at 27-3. Cell or pineapple boilies are working well at the moment.

GEARYS . A new 5 hour match record was set this week with Jon Newton catching 274lb on Wednesdays open ,he caught carp to 18lb fishing short with pellet and down the margins with dead maggot over ground bait. Gearys is still the pick of the pools with carp showing on all areas and bomb with pellet, method feeder and pole with pellet or maggot all working well.

LITTLE GEARYS Still fishing a little hard this week with nets to around 80lb with the main action coming late down the margins with some decent carp and f1s coming to banded pellet or dead maggot fished over ground bait. During the day long pole with 4 or 6mm pellet on the deck is accounting for a few f1s and smaller carp.

ANNIVERSARIES . Pole fished caster or pellet fished shallow or expander pellet, corn or dead reds fished over micros tight across to the features or down the margins has been the best approach but Pinging 6mm pellet and fishing the bomb or waggler over the top can be very effective as well.

SIBLINGS A Nets to over 80lb this week and generally shown decent form from all areas. Carp to 15lb and f1s to 6lb have featured with pole fished worm, maggot or pellet fished over micros either across to the island or down the margins working best.

SIBLINGS B . Fishing ok with nets to around 80lb made up of f1s from 2-4lbs showing along with some nice carp up to double figures. Pegs 5-12 have been the most consistent and pole fished maggot ,corn or banded hard pellet the best approach.

GRATUITIES The bigger carp are coming to the waggler with pellet or a method feeder fished tight upto the island with pegs 8- 15 on the far side the most consistent area for carp from 3-10lbs. Nice mixed nets coming to maggot caster or expander pellet fished over micros fished down the middle of the pool .

WILLOW The better catches are being caught by fishing tight up to the island with a method feeder ,bomb with pellet or a small pellet waggler with carp to 10lbs and f1s to around 5lb making up the nets. All pegs are worth a go but 3,5 and 10 are the flyers at the moment.
