MOLANDS . A return to overnight frosts and cooler day time temperatures saw the fishing go a little more patchy but there were still some good catches to be had including nets to nearly 150lbs in matches. The best tactics in matches have been bomb/waggler or method feeder to the island ,long pole with pellets or maggots fished down the margins. Carp anglers have had fish to 23lb with pegs 19-27 the most consistent area for the bigger fish and cell or active 8 boilies are the better baits.

GEARYS . A little slower this week with the majority of carp moving into the deeper water from pegs 1- 13 and the far side from 30 -36 and nets to around 60lb coming to method feeder ,bomb with bread or 8mm pellet.

LITTLE GEARYS Fished well through the middle of the week with nets to 90lb but got a little harder with the overnight frosts taking a toll. Pole fished 4or 6mm pellet at 9-14m ,down the margins with corn or maggot or bomb with wafter over 6mm pellets have all been working this week. Pegs 3-11 and 21-29 have been the most consistent.

ANNIVERSARIES One of the more consistent pools this week producing plenty of bites on all othe pegs with f1s and small carp the main target but there were a number of double figure carp caught as well. On the open water pegs bomb or waggler with 6 mm pellet has been best with pole and maggot or pellet up to the feature working on the other pegs.

SIBLINGS A Still Fishing a little bit tough with nets to nearly 50lb over the weekend with carp to 15lb and f1s to 6lb featuring in catches. Dobbing bread across to the island, maggot or pellet fished down the middle on the deck or shallow and down the margins with corn or maggot over ground bait have all been producing.

SIBLINGS B . Like all the f1 dominated pools pools it was a bit harder this week with nets to over 60lb winning matches. Pole fished pellet or maggot fished across to the far bank features ,short at 5m with maggot or dead reds over groundbait down the margins

GRATUITIES Nice mixed nets of skimmers, roach, perch and chub coming to maggot or caster fished on the pole or waggler. A few carp up to double figures have come to punched bread on the bomb or waggler fished across to the island

WILLOW Nets to around 40lb were best this week with F1s and carp to 4lbs making up the catches. Waggler with pellet or bomb with pellet/bread and long pole with banded hard pellet have been the best approach with pegs 3-6 still the most consistent area.
