MOLANDS . As with all of the pools ,Molands was covered in ice at the start of the week but was clear by the weekend but the fishing was very tough with only the odd carp and f1s coming to bread or a small wafter fished on the bomb and bread.

GEARYS . Only really fished for silvers this week and although it was tough there were some nice skimmers caught in nets to 20lb with pole fished pinkie or maggot over ground bait working best.

LITTLE GEARYS very patchy at the moment with the fish shoaling tight in certain areas and pegs 7- 11 being the most consistent and maggot feeder fished down the middle or bomb with wafter or bread upto the island working best for carp to double figures and f1s to 6lbs.

ANNIVERSARIES Probably the most consistent pool after the thaw with f1s and small stockie carp showing on most pegs with nets to around 40lb best. Pole with maggots fished short at around 6m as been working well and on the more open pegs bomb with wafter or 6mm pellet is having a few.

SIBLINGS A Frozen over for most of the week and was not fished over the weekend.

SIBLINGS B . Mets to around 40lb were caught fishing through the ice with pole and pellet/maggot working best. When the ice melted dobbing bread along the reeds on the far bank worked best for some decent carp and f1s.

GRATUITIES The bigger carp are coming to the waggler with pellet or a method feeder fished tight upto the island with pegs 8- 15 on the far side the most consistent area for carp from 3-10lbs. Nice mixed nets coming to maggot caster or expander pellet fished over micros fished down the middle of the pool .

WILLOW Always the first pool to defrost, Willow has fished ok with nets to 70lb coming off. Peg 5 is the hot peg with carp to 10lb and f1s to 6lb being caught on waggler/bomb with 6mm banded pellet. Pole with pellet or maggot is working well on the other pegs.
