REPORT
MOLANDS Slightly milder weather saw sport improve a little with nets to around 70lbs including Carp to double figures and F1s to 7lb.Bomb with bread or waggler with pellet fished really tight to the island has accouted for the carp with long pole /maggot or maggot feeder best for the f1s.Top pegs are 2,10-15,23-29 44-48 and 56-60
GEARYS Bomb with 8mm pellet was best for carp with fish to 18lb falling to this.Big skimmers to 3lb are being caught along the high bank on pole fished banded 6mm pellet or worm and caster.
LITTLE GEARYS The pick of the pools last week with decent catches being caught all around and nets to 76lb were had. Maggot feeder or long pole with maggot or expander pellet for the F1s and bread on the bomb or wafter is accounting for carp to over 10lb.
ANNIVERSARIES Fishing into the big bowl on pegs 6,17, 19 and 21 – 23 has been best where carp and F1s to 3lb have been showing well. Pole fished pellet, maggot, punched bread has been the top tactic with a small maggot or pellet feeder into the open water also working at the moment
SIBLINGS A A little better this week albeit patchy with nets to nearly 60lb caught, and long pole with bread, corn or pellet dobbed across to the island has been the best tactic. The F1s are feeding down the middle in the last couple hours of the day and pellet or maggot is catching them then.
SIBLINGS B Same as Siblings A, the water has gone clear and the fishing was hard but nets to around 40lb have been caught on long pole with pellet or maggot.
WILLOW Fished ok this week with catches of F1s and carp to 40lb being caught on waggler/feeder to the island or long pole and pellet.
