MOLANDS . A little bit slower this week with nets to around 70lb best made up of mainly carp and f1s to around the 5lb mark. Method or pellet feeder to the island with dead maggots or small wafters on the hook, pole with maggots or caster fished long at 14 meters or down the first shelf at around 5 meters and later in the day down the margins with dead reds and corn. Carp anglers have had fish to over 26lb this week with lots of doubles showing all around the pool, Cell boilies fished across to the island has been the best approach for the bigger samples.

GEARYS .Fished very well this week with carp nets to 140lb+. Long or short on the pole with banded pellet or meat, bomb or waggler with 8mm pellet and down the margins with dead maggot, corn or worm fished over micros has been best for carp up to 23lb. The silver fish sport has been ok with nets of skimmers and roach with the odd tench and crucians coming to pole fished maggot or caster over ground bait,

LITTLE GEARYS Although nets to around 100lb were best this week it has been a little more consistent this week with most pegs producing well. Bomb with 6 or 8mm pellet and short pole with maggots fed out of the hand have been the top tactics but method feeder and margin tactics cannot be ignored.

ANNIVERSARIES .Nets to over 70lb being caught in matches with pole fished maggot or pellet fished shallow or expander pellet, corn or dead reds fished over micros tight across to the features or down the margins has been the best approach but Pinging 6mm pellet and fishing the bomb or waggler over the top can be very effective as well. Restocked early in the week with carp between 1-2 lb and these have been showing well

SIBLINGS A Fishing a little tough with the water starting to clear with nets to around 60lb best and carp from 2-6lb and f1s to 5lb making up the catches. A pole approach is usually the best way to go but there have been some decent catches on a small method feeder fished across to the island or down the middle of the pool. Maggot fished short or pellet down the margins on the pole.

SIBLINGS B . Fishing a little harder with nets to over 50lb made up of f1s from 2-4lbs showing along with some nice carp up to double figures. Pegs 5-12 have been the most consistent and pole fished meat, maggot ,corn or banded hard pellet the best approach.

GRATUITIES The bigger carp are coming to the waggler with pellet or a method feeder fished tight upto the island with pegs 8- 15 on the far side the most consistent area for carp from 3-10lbs. Nice mixed nets coming to maggot caster or expander pellet fished over micros fished down the middle of the pool .

WILLOW Nets to around 50lb best with plenty of small stockie carp showing along with f1s to 5lb. Pole fished pellet on the deck at 14m has been the top tactic but waggler or feeder to the island with banded pellet and down the margins with corn also doing well.
