MOLANDS In the matches nets to 150lb +were caught this week with the method feeder fished tight up to the island with wafters and small expanders on the hook catching carp up to 20lb and F1s to 10lb. Bomb and waggler with 8mms and down the margins with pellet, corn or dead reds over micros have also been working. Carp anglers fishing the night have reported catches of 20+fish with many upper doubles and the odd 20lb fish with krill and squid boiles fished over particles working well.

GEARYS . Nets to 170lb in matches with pegs 12-19 in the best form but decent catches are being made all around the pool, Top tactic has been pinging 8mm pellet and fishing a bomb or waggler over the top. Method feeder to the middle stumps has accounted for some nice nets too and later in the day corn or big pellets can sort out the larger fish with specimens to 20lb + falling to this. Pleasue anglers have enjoyed some good sport fishing on the top with dog biscuit or bread.

LITTLE GEARYS Match nets to over 120lb this week with the bigger nets coming to pellet or caster shallow down the middle of the pool. Method feeder and waggler with pellet fished tight to the island has also been working well and late in the day pellet or dead reds down the margins can sort out some bigger carp.

ANNIVERSARIES Pegs 1-10 and 19-23 have been the most consistent with carp and f1s up to 5lb providing the bulk of the action. Pole fished caster or pellet fished shallow or expander pellet, corn or dead reds fished over micros tight across to the features or down the margins. On the wider areas a pellet waggler with 6mm pellet can be great.

SIBLINGS A Fished a little slower this week with nets to around 80lb best as the F1s are still a little tricky to catch. Carp from 2 -8lb have made up the bulk of the better catches with a few odd bonus double figure samples and pole fished corn or dead reds fished over micros to the island or down the margins has worked best.

SIBLINGS B Nets to over 60lb were best this week with the sunny conditions proving not to the liking of the F1s. Pole fished paste, caster or expander pellet fished down the middle or along the margins was the best approach with pegs 7-12 the most consistent.

GRATUITIES The corner pegs 1,8,9,15 and 16 have been best for carp with fish to 15lb coming to corn, big pellet or worm fished over ground bait or micros. Nice mixed nets coming from all around the pool with skimmers, crucians,f1s and smaller carp with maggot or expander pellet working best.

WILLOW Steady sport through the week with nets of f1s and carp to 70lb + reported this week. Method feeder or waggler with pellet fished tight to the island and long pole with cater or pellet shallow have been the top tactics .
