REPORT
MOLANDS Maggot has been the dominant bait on Molands catching plenty of F1s and silver fish with nets to 50lb+ on maggot feeder or long pole at 13 metres. Carp are coming to bomb and pellet or a pellet feeder with maggot, both fishing tight to the island.
GEARYS Fishing quite well with carp to double figures and plenty of smaller samples between 2 – 4lb and the skimmers have been showing well too. Pole fished maggot or pellet is the top tactic but bomb and pellet or pellet feeder have also accounted for decent nets.
LITTLE GEARYS Fished well through the week with nets to over 90lb caught and good back up weights too. The top tactic has been maggot feeder fished half way across with F1s to 4lb responding well to this. Pole and maggot also working well and in the mild conditions, they have been feeding well down the margins.
SIBLINGS A Very much up and down with one day fishing well and the next really difficult. The top tactic has been to fish maggot or pellet right across or down the track for F1s, carp, ide and skimmers.
SIBLINGS B Like Siblings A, Siblings B has been very up and down but nets to over 50lb were recorded with the flier pegs 9 and 10 producing the best catches. F1s and carp are providing the main action with long pole and pellet/maggot the top tactics.
ANNIVERSARIES Some decent nets this week made up of mainly F1s in the 1 – 3lb range and pole fished maggot or pellet is working best but maggot feeder or pole with pellet is also worth a try.
WILLOW Fished quite hard last week with nets to 30lb best mainly made up of F1s that have been coming to long pole with maggot. A small waggler with punched bread fished against the island is also worth a try.
