REPORT
MOLANDS Fished well this week with weights to 100lb in matches and pleasure catches exceeding that. The F1s have been feeding well and fish to 7lb are coming to shallow maggot on the pole, maggot feeder and corn down the edges. Carp to double figures are being caught on the method feeder or bomb and pellet. Best pegs have been 2 – 10, 21 – 25, 41 – 46 and 56 – 60.
GEARYS Gearys is in decent form with some cracking carp being caught at the moment. Fish to 19lb have featured with bomb and pellet or fishing down the margins with corn or maggot over ground bait. The skimmers and good numbers of tench were also being caught with pegs
7 – 11 and 37 – 41 providing good bags on pole fished pellet, corn or caster.
LITTLE GEARYS The colour has dropped out and the fishing has been hard this week with nets to around 40lb best. Maggot feeder down the middle, long pole with pellet and a small method/pellet feeder fished to the island have produced the best catches.
GRATUITIES Good nets of silvers are coming to pole and caster, expander pellet or maggot fished over micros. The carp are coming best to corn fished over micros fishing down the margins or out at 13 metres
SIBLINGS A A little more patchy than of late but decent nets of carp and F1s are being caught. Pegs 5, 9, 12 and 16 – 20 have been the best with pole fished bread, corn or maggot across to the island bank.
SIBLINGS B Improved a lot this week with the F1s showing well in nets to around 70lb. Pole fished pellet, maggot and paste are working in the mild conditions.
WILLOW Fished well early in the week but slowed down at the weekend. Carp and F1s are showing to the waggler against the islands and pellet feeder down the margins with corn or pellet.
