MOLANDS A little harder this week with match weights to around 110lbs best. Method feeder tight to the island with wafters ,dead maggot or a small banded pellet ,waggler with 8mm pellet and down the margins with pellet ,paste or corn have been the best tactics. Anglers fishing the night reported carp to over 20lb and numerous upper doubles with cell boilies working well for the bigger fish.

GEARYS Fished well this week with match nets to nearly 200lb with lots of tactics catching carp up to 22lb. In the matches ,method feeder with wafters has been doing really well fished out to the middle stumps or up to an island, bomb with 8mm pellet and shallow pellet on the pole are also working well. Carp anglers have had good results fishing on the top with mixers and on the deck with boilies fished over particles.

LITTLE GEARYS Match nets to 100lb+ this week decent catches coming from all around the pool. As with a lot of pools at the moment the method feeder is the most consistent approach fishing a small wafter or dead reds on the hook. Caster or pellet fished shallow and late on down the margins with pellet ,maggot or paste can be good as well. Best pegs have been 7-15 and 21-29.

ANNIVERSARIES Fished really patchy again this week with the F1s not really feeding in the bright conditions and nets to around 50lb were best. Pole fished corn ,pellet or caster fished up to the islands has worked best with method feeder or bomb worth a try on the wider areas. Most consistent pegs have been 2,6,10,17,19,23.

SIBLINGS A The Bright conditions are making it difficult to tempt the F1s and the better catches have been made up mostly with carp from 2-12lbs and nets to 70lb were made this week. Pole up to the island ,feeding micros or ground bait and fishing dead reds or corn over the top has been the stand out approach but caster or pellet shallow is also having a few fish.

SIBLINGS B Nets to 60lb were made by fishing caster or pellet shallow and down the margins with worm , paste or corn fished over micros. Pegs 1-5 and 13-17 have been the most productive this week with the breeze blowing down the arms and pushing the fish onto those pegs.

GRATUITIES Carp from 3-8lb with the odd double are still making up the better catches and feeder or waggler to the island has accounted for nets to 60lb. Pole fished maggot, caster or expander fished over micros or ground bait has caught mixed nets of silvers and small f1s to 40lb.

WILLOW Fished a little harder with the bright conditions and high pressure and nets to around 60lb were best. Fishing tight up to the island on the pegs you can reach with the pole and jigging pellet was still the best approach with waggler or bomb on the wider pegs also working
