REPORT

MOLANDS In very good form at the moment with nets to over 170lb caught in matches this week with carp to over 20lb and F1s to 7lb+ also featuring in catches. The bigger carp are coming to boilies fished tight across to the far bank or off the top with dog biscuit. In the matches, meat fished down the edges or out at five metres is the top tactic and shallow tactics with pellet or caster are also starting to catch well.

GEARYS A good week with catches to over 150lb caught in matches and lots of double figure carp being caught from all around the pool. Pole fished 8mm pellet is working really well at the moment in matches with bomb/pellet and method feeder also scoring well. Pleasure anglers fishing off the top have had lots of carp in the 8 – 15lb range.

LITTLE GEARYS Really starting to come into form with match weights to over 170lb caught and really good catches from all around the pool. Meat fished at five metres, shallow pole with caster/pellet and pellet feeder to the island have all accounted for lots of fish this week.

GRATUITIES The bigger carp are being caught off the top with bread or dog biscuit catching fish to 15lb. In the matches, long pole with pellet or paste has been the best approach for mixed nets of carp and skimmers.

WILLOW Great shallow fishing with jigger and pellet accounting for nets to over 100lb this week catching mainly F1s to 4lb but the odd carp are being caught down the edges on paste or corn fished over micros.

SIBLINGS A More consistent this week with nets to over 70lb in matches with maggot or pellet feeding heavily down the middle accounting for nets of carp, F1s, ide and skimmers. Meat down the margins is also working well.

SIBLINGS B Fished ok this week with nets to 70lb being caught from all around the pool. F1s to 4lb have made up the bulk of the catches but carp to 8lb and ide also showing in matches this week.

ANNIVERSARIES Fished well this week with F1s to 5lb showing in nets to around 80lb. Paste, pellet or caster fished shallow have scored best. The bigger carp are showing in the top bay with fish to 15lb coming to surface baits on a method feeder fished to the features.
