REPORT
MOLANDS The fishery has had a covering of ice up to 2” thick this week and therefore it has been really hard to fish with no one on the fishery until Wednesday. After breaking the ice on Molands, skimmers and roach were the main target on pole and paste with the odd F1s also being caught. Willow provided the best fishing as the ice is thinner on there and F1s and carp were being caught on pole and maggot or pinkies. After the ice was cleared along the high bank of Gearys, anglers fishing the Winter League at the weekend caught roach and skimmers on the pole fished caster, maggot and pinkies.
