PETA have faxed a letter to Sir John Harman chairman of The Environmental Agency urging him to call off the Environment Agency’s 10-year campaign which aims to recruit women and ethnic-minority anglers.

“Women and ethnic minorities historically have shown very little interest in fishing in the past, and they deserve applause for avoiding such a cruel pastime,” writes Poorva Joshipura in her letter to Sir John Hartman.
