Top match fishing brand Preston Innovations is for sale with a price tag around £25 million.
The Sunday Times reports that owner Dave Preston has decided to sell up the company he founded in 1984. The original company grew to incorporate the Korum big fish and the Avid carp brands as well, as well as bait brand Sonubaits.
Preston Innovations now employs over 70 staff and has a turnover of around £17 million per year. Over a third of its trade is now believed to come from overseas.
Dave Preston told the Sunday Times: “After 30 years in the industry the point has come where the foundation is strong and now is the time to consider opportunities that will secure the future of the brands.”
