The consistent Birmingham matchman drew peg 55 on Meadow Pool where he had to chop and change his pellet and meat lines to keep fish coming for a 109-1-0 total, to beat Coventry’s Jon Arthur, who had 86-4-0, into second spot. Lee will now get a crack at the £50,000 first prize in the big Larford Lakes event this summer.
