Shatterford Lakes is running into its traditionally impressive winter silver fish form, as illustrated when Grant Albutt put together a fine 24lb bag of quality roach on the feeder during a match which was won with 32lb of roach on the short pole.
Grant is actually the new manager at the day ticket venue between Kidderminster and Stourbridge and because the lakes there are so deep, the fish feed no matter how cold it gets. Grant is hoping to increase the size of the winter league fished there.
