Again it was peg 31 that produced the winner, this time it was the turn of Pete Hodgetts he fished the pole and meat on the top of the sunken building feeding nothing at the start and just a few pellets when the bites tailed off he ended the match with 17 carp – 8lb and a total weight of 91lb 12oz. In 2nd Kev fished pole and pellet at 12m and 17m up to the island he had bites all day and finished with a level 86lb of carp – 3lb. Ivan and Craig still lead as they have done from the first match.

Peg 31 is still on top form and Craig made the most of it, he fished pole and meat on top of the submerged building at 13m for the first half of the match till the fished moved to the back of the building then he fished pole and pellet at 15m up in the water, he had carp – 9lb all through the match and finishing with the best weight so far this year an incredible 166lb 7oz.In 2nd place Glen fished the method feeder and pellet cast top the lily pad in peg 24 biteless for the first hour then a bite every cast in he finished with an all carp catch with fish – 4lb and 106lb 4oz. The third ton weight of the day came from Pete Ellis (his 2nd in three matches) drawn in the bay he fished pole and corn down the margin for carp – 8lb though most were round the 4lb mark, he weighed in 104lb14oz.

It was a match that no one knew who was winning but a 6lb carp landed on the final whistle was enough to put John Tingle at the top of the list, fishing pole and pellet he had over 40lb of bream and skimmers – 3lb and in the last hour added 5 carp to 6lb to his total of 54lb 7oz. In 2nd place Fred had just 12lb of skimmers in the net but with 90mins to go the carp moved over his pellets he then had 15 carp his best being a specimen 12lber
