The start of the match felt like the start of winter and it just got colder and colder throughout it. Dave drew inform peg 49 and fished pole pellet and corn having 12 carp – 4lb steady through the match. Lost fish cost Mick the match loosing 5 carp but landing 6– 5lb and 2 roach on pole fished sweet corn

Rob drew peg 25 and fished pole and pellet at the side of the weed bed having a bite nearly every put in he ended the match with over 30 carp – 4lb and another good winter catch of 62lb 10oz. 2^nd and 3^rd places were separated by 7oz with both anglers fishing pole and pellet for a mixed net of skimmers and small carp.
