Arnie fished pole and pellet at 12m feeding pellets every put in to keep the fish interested, but it started off bad for him loosing his first 7 carp he did manage to land 16 others the biggest being 8lb. 2^nd placed Jason had to fish a foot of the bottom to get any bits and didn’t feed anything, fishing pole and pellet at 16m he 20 carp -7lb

The only angler to catch carp Daz fished pole and caster out at 12m and pole and corn down the margin, he had 10lb of skimmers and roach and after landing a 9lb carp from down the side he fished the last 3 hours there landing a further 8 carp to take the top with 26lb to spare. In 2^nd place Richard fished pole and caster at 14m for a mixed net of skimmers – 1lb Roach and Rudd.

Only the 5^th match Craig as fished at the fishery this year due to work commitments but everybody knows when Craig has a day off, he’s won all 5. Drawn at peg 17 a peg that as shown no form for a long time he alternated between pole fished at 11m and a small groundbait feeder cast up to the island when the wind was to strong to hold the pole, using corn and pellet on the hook he was into carp from the off ending with over 40 carp – 8lb and a massive total of 131lb 14oz. A long way behind but still with a respectable weight Jason fished same method as Craig landing over 35 carp – 5lb. 3^rd place Jim ignored the usual feeder cast to the island and fished the pole and pellet on this sheltered peg landing 22 carp -6lb

Derek put an end to Craig’s winning streak landing a 6lb carp on the whistle. Derek fished a small groundbait feeder pellet and corn hook bait cast tight to the island catching steady all match he landed 14 carp – 8lb. On the next peg Craig fished the pole corn and pellet over ground bait at 13m he caught well in the first half of the match but watched his lead disappear in the dyeing minutes of the match.
