Presentation was made very difficult by the strong to gale force wind, Barry Walters did well casting a small ground bait feeder tight to the island from peg 22 fishing with corn on the hook he said he had to be within a foot of the island to get a bite and that was hard to judge in the conditions, catching steady all match he finished with a total of 24 carp in the net the biggest being 8lb for 76lb 11oz 2nd placed Steve fished pole and double corn down the margin for 28 carp – 8lb

Again this match affected by the wind, and the top six weights all came from the slightly sheltered end. Geoff fished pole and caster short down the inside line for a mixed net of small roach, Rudd and Gudgeon. 2nd place went to venue regular Ralph who never seems to be off a good peg, drawn on hot peg 42 he fished pole and worm short for a net of small roach and perch and added a 4lb carp to his net in the dieing minutes of the match.
