2^nd Fred Spooner Brown Baileys peg 9, 17-4-0

This must have been the coldest day so far this year with a strong north east wind blowing and snow and sleet showers it was amazing any fish were caught at all. Sid drew peg 31 and fished the usual long pole at 14m and corn and pellet hook bait he had a total of 20 carp on the hook but managed to land 14 with the biggest being 4lb weighing in 31lb 1oz. His travelling partner Fred was 2^nd he fished the bomb and corn cast to the spinner for 3 carp – 7lb
