A very tight finish at the top with Matt Malia edging in front fishing the method feeder cast to the lily pads and the pole and paste at 13m he landed 32 carp – 6lb and a total of 98lb 2oz. One small carp behind was Steve Keyworth fishing the pole and pellet out at 12m and paste down the margin he had over 40 carp – 7lb and 96lb 8oz in his nets.

Daz fished the pole and caster shallow out at 6m landing 70lb of skimmers and Ide – 1lb + 3 bonus carp – 4lb taking his total – 82lb 11oz. In 2nd Steve fished the pole and corn short down the margin from peg 41 landing 25lb of silvers and over 50lb of carp – 7lb.

Martyn fished his favourite method the pole and paste fished out and in the margins landing 120lb 3oz of carp – 8lb. In second place pleasure angler Robin Woodhead fancied his chances match fishing, drawing peg 28 he fished the pole and meat at 6m for 21 carp – 8lb weighing in his best ever weight of 105lb 3oz.
