A strange day, very hot at the start then a sudden down pours then hot again, lots of fish showing everywhere, but getting them on the hook was a problem. Mick drew peg 20 in the shallow bay fishing pole and pellet on two lines at 13m he had 24 carp from 4oz up to 6lb loosing 8 others in the lily pads finishing with a total of 48lb 15oz. Close for 2^nd place between Carl and Dean both fishing pole and paste down the margin Both having 8 carp – 8lb but Dean was cursing the fish he lost at the net on the whistle.

Fred seems to be dominating this lake at the moment winning the last 3 matches, fishing pole and 6mm pellet down the margins over a bed of pellets he had 2 carp the biggest going 9lb but the rest of his catch was made up of skimmers and bream – 3lb winning with 71lb 8oz over 20lb in front of runner up John Darby fishing the same has Fred he had a mixed net of tench carp and bream – 3lb

Dave fished pole and paste down both margins feeding ground bait when the bites dried up having 20 carp – 9lb steady throughout the match. In 2^nd Mat fished a small method feeder and corn cast tight to the island at 38 for 27 carp- 4lb
