Carl started on the method feeder and meat and was into fish from the off casting tight to the island he had 20 carp – 3lb before running out of ground bait, a change to the pole and paste fished down the margin brought him 10 more carp of a better stamp fish – 8lb put him in front by over 35lb and a total of 109lb 15oz. 2^nd place went to John Turton from Sheffield fishing pole and paste at peg 32 he caught steady through the match also ending with 30 carp – 6lb, just 7oz in front of 3^rd place Neil also fishing pole and paste for 25 carp – 9lb

Fred fished pole and pellet down the margin for an all bream and skimmer catch with his biggest fish being 3lb, feeding micro pellets and 4mm soft pellets on the hook he had a fish most puts out. 20lb behind Lee fished pole and caster and corn for another all skimmer net with fish – 2lb.
