The wind and rain made presentation again very hard, but the carp were having ago despite the conditions, a very tight match with owner Mick Langton just coming out top fishing pole pellet and meat feeding a small pot of pellets every put out ending with 16 carp – 9lb. 2^nd placed Neil fished pole and corn from peg 17 on the point having a good run of 7 puts in and 7 carp ending with 15 – 9lb. 3^rd Placed Simon was opposite Mick fishing the same way was fish to fish with him till the last hour till his carp moved out and the skimmers moved in he ended with 12 carp – 7lb and five skimmers – 3lb

Steve fished pole chopped worm and caster at 14m to the far bank, he had a 12oz chub on his first put in and never looked back weighing in over 30lb of chub – 1lb and 15lb of small carp – 2lb with a spare peg in between Geoff fished pole caster and pellet shallow towards the spare peg for a mixed net of small carp and chub

Best weight on the Cavendish can from peg 1, Craig fished pole pellet and corn down the side for 10 carp – 8lb

No big weights but no pegs dominating, the top three were just one fish apart with Neil coming put top, fishing pole pellet and corn he had an 8lb carp on his first put out and then 10 more – 5lb throughout the match. In 2^nd Dave alternated between a small ground bait feeder and corn cast to the lily pad and pole and pellet fished down the margin, struggling for the first half of the match he had 11 carp – 5lb in quick succession in the last half. 3^rd place Carl wasted the last2 hours on the pole bite less trying to catch a bigger fish after catching 12 carp – 4lb on the ground bait feeder and meat cast to the lily pads.

Gale force winds and driving rain, a low turn out of anglers, but it didn’t put the fish off; Jim fished the pole down the margin with single and double corn he had 2 carp that went a total of 19lb and over 21lb of bream -3lb finishing nearly 10lb in front of Geoff also fishing the pole down the margin and corn hook bait feeding pellet he had 8 carp -8lb and skimmers and tench, with the 7lb carp caught on is last put in.
