Peg to peg it went down to the last hour and on the whistle Craig came out on top fishing pole and corn at 11m at peg 20 in the bay he lost 5 fish but managed to land 12 carp – 6lb, on the next peg Mick fished pole and pellet on 2 lines out at 13m and down the margin also loosing 5 carp but had 8 – 7lb

John fished pole and double red maggot just short of the island at peg 62 loose feeding 12 maggots every put in he had a bite every put in he ended with a mixed net of small carp skimmers tench and roach. 2^nd again for the third week Geoff fished pole and pellet, he had one carp of 6lb also loosing one at the net of the same size, and the rest of his catch was made up of skimmers – 12oz. In third place Mick Clifton had a net of stocky carp fishing pole and corn up to the island; this is the highest he as ever finished and the first time he has ever got into the prize money
